Grant History
For the long-term well being of our community, we are committed to hometown philanthropy in support of projects and programs that will make Lafayette an even better place to grow and live for people of all ages. We wish to support groups who are working cooperatively to:
- Create opportunities for participation in the Arts
- Nurture the health of body and spirit through vigorous and active contact with our natural environment
- Strengthen local institutions that are effective in affirming and transmitting the shared values of our diverse and civil society.
We are proud of the projects and parnerships we have developed over the years and feel that we have made real contributions to our community. Some of our most recent grants are:
- $4000 The City of Lafayette for Senior transportation program and Senior Needs Assessment project
- $2500 The Dramateurs, Town Hall Theatre for ADA compliant drinking fountain in the renovation project
- $1500 Burton Valley PTA Greenhouse Project
- $2000 Meals on Wheels of Contra Costa for Lafayette Senior Care Project
- $1000 Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano for general funds
- $2000 Interfaith Concil of Contra Costa County for Winter Nights Program
- $2500 Lafayette All-American Football Association for upgrading weight training equipment
- $2500 Lafayette Historiacal Society for completion of restoration of Old Besty Fire Truck
- $2500 Earth Team for fund work with Lamorinda Schools
- $1000 Happy Valley Parent's Club for fitness course
- $1000 Generation Green for movie nights showcasing environmental issues
- $3000 Lafayette Art Gallery to help cover operational costs until an annual fundraiser can be instituted
- $750 Lafayette Historical Society for software to consolidate all of their archival, photographic and membership information
- $4000 for LLLC towards the purchase tables and chairs for the Homework Center
- $500 to Sustainable Lafayette to enhance their website
- $2750 to Lafayette All-American Football Association for additional weight room equipment to be used by all students
